Clarity Social Enterprise offers affordable, professional face-to-face interpreting in a wide range of languages. Our interpreters are hand-picked, qualified and experienced.

We have a particular vision to improve the quality of life for refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We therefore particularly welcome refugees as interpreters. Refugees can use their interpreting skills to gain valuable UK employment experience. Not only that, but all our profits are used to benefit refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

Happy Anniversary – 21/7/15

Clarity Directors Adwan, Peter, Solomon and Yasir are pleased to announce our first Anniversary. Clarity Social Enterprise was registered one year ago.

We would like to thank everyone involved who has made it such an exciting year. Special thanks to all our interpreters who between them speak over 40 languages. Thanks to all the individuals and organisations who have helped us get started, especially Ali Mahgoub and everyone at Leeds Refugee Forum, Pria Bhabra of the Migrant Community Network, and everyone at TouchstoneLeeds Advocacy, and the Black Health Initiative.

French, Albanian, Somali and Tigrinya were our most frequently requested languages and during the year over 85% of our work was with charities. It’s been a pleasure to be involved in supporting organisations that are making a real difference to people’s lives, organisations like British Red Cross and the Manuel Bravo project that help those fleeing persecution.

We’ve also been pleased to begin offering translation services and are expecting to expand the languages we can translate in the next year.

We are very proud to distribute all our profits to charities in Leeds working with refugees and asylum seekers. This year we have been able to make small grants to four (among many) fantastic organisations:
